Event Subscription

TeamLook provides an alert system that allows you to set email alerts that are triggered by events on your Microsoft Team Foundation Server. To subscribe to an event, click on the "Event Subscription" button in the TeamLook tab of the ribbon bar.

This will take you to the event subscription manager.

The Event Subscriptions window: choose your server from the drop down and specify your supscriptions in the central field.

First select the server hosting the project that you want to be alerted about from the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner of the window. To create a new alert, fill out the fields in the blank bottom row. Select the type of event you want notified of in the "Type" drop-down. Then choose the project(s) that you want this alert to pertain to by checking the boxes of any projects in the second drop-down. Then type in your email address in the "Send To" form. Finally choose whether you want the alert in an HTML format or Plain Text in the final drop-down menu. When you have completed all four fields, click ok. Or, if you want to continue creating new subscriptions, click apply, and keep working.
