Go to Work Item

The quickest possible way to open a work item that either you've created or is hosted on the server is the "Go to Work Item" function. Click on "Go to Work Item" on the TeamLook tab of the ribbon bar.

Then select the server the work item is hosted on, type in the ID number of the item and click ok.

Select your server in the drop-down and enter the work item ID number in the field.

This will take you directly to the specified work item's form. If you know the ID number of the item you are looking for, there is no faster way to find it. If you don't know the ID number you will have to use one of the other search methods.
