Grouping Work Items
You can make queries in TeamLook even more powerful by grouping the work items
returned by the search. Work items that have the same value for the field they are grouped
by will be listed together in a collapsible list. This allows you customize the layout of
the search results in a manner that will make them more powerful.
To group your query results, right-click on the field you want to group work
items by at the top of its column, and choose "Group By This Field."
The field that designates the grouping is displayed just above the list.
You can group by multiple fields to create a hierarchical, collapsible list.
Just right-click on the field that you want to create subgroups by and select "Group By This
Field" like before. The hierarchy of the groupings is displayed at the top of the search results.
Click on the grouping field buttons to reverse the sort. Drag and drop to change the hierarchy. Right-click
on the field and select "Don't Group By This Field" to remove the grouping.
