TeamSpec offers unrivaled offline support. Except for pushing and pulling content from Team Foundation Server, all of TeamSpec's features are fully functional when operating in an offline environment. The benefits of this are twofold. First, if you are working somewhere you cannot connect to TFS, on an airplane for instance, you can still view and edit work items in TeamSpec. Then, when you return to your server, you can publish your new content TFS. Second, if you have created a TeamSpec document on your computer, you can share it with people who do not have TeamSpec installed. They can view and edit the work items in your document, save their changes and send it back to you. Then you can push that content to TFS from your machine. That way you can integrate individuals who are not plugged into TFS into your Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
