Activating TeamSpec
If your 90-day trial has expired, or is about to expire, and you would like to keep
using your product, it is time to purchase and activate your copy of TeamSpec. To
purchase TeamSpec either go to our website, www.teamsystemsolutions.com, or click
the "Help" button in the TeamSpec tab of the ribbon bar.
This will open a drop down menu; select "Purchase TeamSpec."
Follow the instructions on the web, purchase your copy and you will be given an
alphanumeric activation key. To activate the product, click "Help" in the TeamSpec
tab of the ribbon bar and select "Activate TeamSpec."
You have two options: "Enter Activation Key" or "Offline Activation." If your machine
is connected to the internet, select "Enter Activation Key."
Copy the alphanumeric key that you were given online into the field.
Thanks for purchasing TeamSpec! Click "Finish" and TeamSpec is yours.
Offline Activation
If the machine you are running TeamSpec on is not connected to the internet, select
"Offline Activation."
Click the "Generate Offline Activation Key Request" button.
This opens an offline activation request document in Notepad.
Delete the text "TYPE YOUR ACTIVATION KEY HERE" and replace it with the activation
key that you were given when you purchased the product online. Now you need to move
this information to an internet-connected machine. Either save the document to a
disk, or copy the information manually. On your internet-ready machine, email your
activation request to support@teamsystemsolutions.com. Remember that your request
must include the activation key you were given online and your unique machine ID.
You will receive an email with a new, longer activation key. On your offline machine,
click next in the window from which you generated your offline activation key request.
Enter your new alphanumeric activation request and click next.
Thank you for purchasing TeamSpec! Click "Finish" and you are done.
