Importing Work Items from your Team Foundation Server

With TeamSpec, it is easy to bring content from your Team Foundation Server into a word document. You can reference work items on the server with rich-content in your document. You can represent the item by hosting specific work item fields in your document. The values of these fields can be updated so that your document always reflects current information.

There are three ways to import a work item into your document with TeamSpec:

From the Canvas Drag-and-Drop

You can load a work item to the Canvas and then drag-and-drop the desired, descriptive work item fields directly into your document.

From the Canvas with a Skin

With a work item loaded to the Canvas you can easily reference it by bringing it into your document formatted by a Skin.

From a Search with a Skin

You can bring any number of work items returned by a Search into your document, formatted by a Skin, with a simple right-click.
